HOW COLLINS OMONDI ODINDO FAKED HIS DIACONATE ORDINATION

SUNDAY, JUNE 12, 2022

It was Thursday June 9, 2022 during the celebration of the feast of Christ our Lord at Kibuye cathedral that Archbishop of Kisumu Maurice Muhatia Makumba revealed the shocking information about the man by the name Collins Omondi Odindow who purported to be ordained deacon.

Referring to him as a dangerous man, the bishop said this man purporting himself to be the superior wrote his own bans, sent to Raliewu parish to Rev Fr Richard Odhiambo, the parish priest to be announced for his ordination.

When bishop asked him for certificates he produced complete certificates from Tangaza College for philosophy and theology fully signed by Tangaza officials. When he enquired from Tangaza the bishop was told that the man claiming to be ordained deacon went to Tangaza College for one semester which he did not finish because he did not pay.

The man wrote himself the dimissorial letter, testimonial letters given by a bishop or by a competent religious superior to his subjects in order that they may be ordained by another bishop.

Such letters testify that the subject has all the qualities demanded by canon law for the reception of the order in question, and request the bishop to whom they are addressed to ordain him.

According to the bishop this man could have not been ordained deacon, but even if he was ordained his ordination is null and void. He purports himself to be superior and if you communicate with superior he responds as the superior.
